Adv.Junaid Kaippani is an educationist, advocate, author, public speaker, leadership trainer, and social entrepreneur dedicated to advancing skill education, leadership development, and community empowerment.
Born in Vellamunda, Wayanad district, Kerala, he is the son of Mammootty Kaippani and Subaida. He is married to Jesna Junaid, a teacher, and they have three children: Adil Jihan, Jeza Fatima, and Aiza Hind.
He completed his schooling at Vellamunda AUPS, Vellamunda GMHS, and St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Kallody. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Calicut, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Markaz Law College, a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) from Annamalai University, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Commerce from the University of Kerala, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Counselling.
He successfully completed the prestigious course on “Decentralisation of Power and Local Governance”, jointly conducted by Sree Narayana Guru Open University, the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA), and the Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology (Digital University Kerala). In recognition of this achievement, he received a Skill Certificate from the Hon’ble Governor of Kerala.
In 2026, he was enrolled as an Advocate with the Kerala Bar Council.
From 2020 to 2025, Adv. Junaid Kaippani served as an elected Member of the Wayanad District Panchayat and also held the position of Wayanad District Welfare Standing Committee Chairman. During his tenure, he implemented several innovative public welfare initiatives that earned recognition at both national and international levels.
His contributions to public service have been honoured with numerous prestigious awards, including the Global Peace Consortium International Humanitarian Award (Sharjah), the Babasaheb Ambedkar Award for India’s Best Local Self-Government Representative (New Delhi), the Karmashreshta State Award for exemplary public service, the Best of India Record as the most documented local self-government representative for public participation, the National Sevak Award for Best District Panchayat Member, the Kaumudi Janaratna Award for social service, the Kerala Panchayat Smrithirekha Gold Medal for Best District Panchayat Standing Committee Chairman, the Krishi Jagran Award for outstanding contributions to agricultural awareness, the Sree Narayana Guru Parishad Award (2018), and several other recognitions.
An accomplished author, he has written several books, including Raappartha Nagarangal, The Art of Public Speaking & Presentation Skills, 501 Principles of Public Speaking, and Personality Development. His scholarly work Decentralised Planning: Thought and Practice, which presents his observations and practical experiences in decentralised governance and development planning, has been widely appreciated in academic circles. The English edition of the book was published by String Publications under the title Decentralized Planning: Thought and Practice and received the Rabindranath Tagore Award from the Red Well Foundation, Kolkata.
His journey in public life began during his high school years through student politics. Over the years, he has served in numerous leadership positions, including Unit Leader of a progressive student organisation, Chairman of the Kallody Higher Secondary School Students’ Union, State President and National Secretary of the Vidhyarthi Janata Dal, Vice Chairman of the Kerala University Union, State Secretary of Yuva Janata Dal (S), National President of YuvaJana SevaDal, and National General Secretary of Janata Dal (Secular).
Beyond public service, Adv. Junaid Kaippani has been actively engaged in education and skill development. He serves as Director of NeuroNet India Edu Solution, President of the Secular Socialist Council, and Editor of Wide Live News portal. In 2014, he founded Letz School of Public Speaking, an institution committed to developing confident speakers, effective communicators, and future leaders through professional public speaking and leadership training.
He also serves as the Director of Letz Life Academy, a leading institution dedicated to skill development, communication training, personality enhancement, and educational innovation. In addition, he holds leadership responsibilities in several social, cultural, educational, and charitable organisations at the district, state, and national levels.
