From there, click on the WhatsApp option .You can also see another option called Media from the WhatsApp .Click on the Media option, then click on Media and then click on the three dots above .Click on the Show Hidden Files option below.
Turn it back on .You will see a folder called .statuses .Click on it and you will get all the status. From there you can easily download or change the move .This way you can download WhatsApp status without any third party application.
