Google has released an immediate security update for Chrome users following reports that it could exploit zero-day risk.
The immediate update to Google Chrome version 99.0.4844.84 is extremely unusual, as this update fixes a single security issue. In a March 25 update to Chrome, Google states that “any attack on CVE-2022-1096” can be expected, so Google urges all Chrome users to make sure their browsers are immediately updated.
