As the uproar against the alleged gangrape and death of a 19-year-old Dalit woman from Hathras continues, the Uttar Pradesh Police chief Hitesh Awasti today met the victim’s family members. The victim died at Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital on Tuesday, nearly a fortnight after she was allegedly gang-raped and assaulted by four upper caste men in Hathras.
